Shivani M Vyas is a screenwriter and film director, born in England and raised in India. 
 

In 2020, she directed her first feature documentary, focusing on teenagers with autism & down syndrome and their views on friendship, love, and family. The film received critical acclaim and was featured at the Kerala Film Festival, Bangalore Film Festival, and London Lift-Off.
 

Her short film Knot Meera was selected among Straight 8’s top 25 films and was screened at the BFI and London Shorts Film Festival 2023.
 

Shivani holds an MA in Screenwriting from the University of the Arts London. She currently resides in London and is writing her debut feature film.
